Oh, hi! A little about me –

My name is Summer. I am officially in my mid-twenties, and have decided it’s now or never to make a passion and hobby into perhaps something more. I live in Washington, DC, am originally from the west. I moved here several years ago to work on international women’s issues. I love what I do, but have always felt a lacking in the creative department. I would love to combine art, design and global women’s issues someday.

I appreciate when things, simply, look good. I like to put things together that don’t match, but work. I’m always searching for a good deal, something unique, and something that has a history. It’s one of the reasons I love flea markets and garage sales.

I have a cat named Olive who will most likely be found in a lot of my posts. Not because I have necessarily turned into a cat lady, (I admit, I’m more of a dog person), but more so because I live in a studio, and Olive is a crack kitty who doesn’t stop moving. Fair enough.
